Vintage Tea Cups and Flowers

Sues Tree House has some cute vintage stitcheries to share with everybody. Drop over and grab these cute tea cups and flowers.

Paula has some really cute drawings that you could use for lots of projects. Paula has used these for scrap-booking purposes but they could be used for stitcheries, redwork and embroideries.

Log Cabin Quilt-As-You-Go Quilt

Sew Take A Hike has a tutorial showing how to make a log cabin "quilt-as-you-go" quilt. I don't know how many times I have said I want to do a "quilt-at-you-go" quilt and this could be the one that makes me take the leap.

Wonky Log Cabin Block

John from Quilt Dad has a nice clear tutorial on how to make a wonky log cabin block. I always love the quilts I see around blogland using this block and would love to make a quilt one day.

Sew Along

Kelly is having a Sew Along using a charm pack and a bit of extra fabric....I must say I love using charm packs. Of course you can make your own charm packs by cutting out squares but I really love the ease of just buying a pack and having the variety they offer. Sewing Caddy Tutorial

Love this sewing caddy from Gina at ginabean handmade I think it would make a great gift, check out the pockets on the sides, fill it with a pattern and some fat quarters or maybe some sewing notions, a pretty length of lace and some buttons and you would make a Quilty/Crafting friend or swap buddy really happy.

Want to learn something new

Janet from JMD designs has shared a nice Needle Pad tute and has the instructions on how to do the Buttonhole Stitch with Picots that she has used on the design, might have to try this would look nice on felt pincushions as well.

Tote Bag Tutorial/Free PDF Pattern

I have just put up a tote bag tutorial/PDF free pattern on my Sew Prim Khris blog to download.

This tote bag is done slightly different to the standard tote where you make the outer bag and then the lining and pop one inside the other. You actually sew one lining to one outer fabric and then sew them all together after putting on pockets and handles.

Strawberry

Teddy

Prim Patterns 'n Handmade has a prim teddy pattern to grab. You don't have to make it prim of course. Looks like a versatile style of teddy to make using all sorts of fabrics. If the link doesn't work I noticed Denise has also another site with the free pattern called The Krazy Kraft Lady.
