Circle blocks without needle turn & applique


Kerry from VeryKerryBerry is sharing a great tutorial to make circle quilt blocks without needle turn or applique....I really like this idea of making a quilt with these blocks as I am not into needle turn and applique these days. Cathedral Windows


I saw these cathedral windows over at Penny's blog and loved them. Penny used Tammy's simple way to make Cathedral Windows . Which seem quicker the way she sews most of it with the sewing machine. I like this idea.

Log Cabin Quilt-As-You-Go Quilt


Sew Take A Hike has a tutorial showing how to make a log cabin "quilt-as-you-go" quilt. I don't know how many times I have said I want to do a "quilt-at-you-go" quilt and this could be the one that makes me take the leap.

John from Quilt Dad has a nice clear tutorial on how to make a wonky log cabin block. I always love the quilts I see around blogland using this block and would love to make a quilt one day.

Heart Block


Tallgrass Prairie Studio have an oh so cute Heart Block tutorial. I have made these same heart blocks with just fabric but this is so cute with the strip piecing in the blocks rather than just one fabric.

Wine bottle and glass paper pieced block


A friend on my CRAFT group was asking after a pattern with a wine bottle and I just found this cool paper pieced block over at Patch Pieces with a wine bottle and wine glass on it. They have a few good blocks over there to look at.

Crazy Four Patch and Whirligigs
