Arrowhead Quilt Block

Roslyn shows a simple way to put together an Arrowhead Quilt Block. Seems so easy done this way. Now after following Roslyn's link to Modern Quilter she then refers her block to HERE...which is where they got their idea from.

Thanks, I think I'll have to try this pattern. I love the orange and brown batik colors too! Rather than mix and put a whole bunch of diff colored squares, would like all the same maybe, or offset w/two diff squares.

I love reading your blog. very informative and useful info. The denim dress re-do is awesome! I have one that I will have to try that on :)

I was wondering if you have tips for how to press the seams. I have recently made an arrowhead quilt and used sashing because the blocks did not sew together accurately due to seam bulk.

I found a unfinished quilt in a bag at a second hand store. The center is the arrowhead pattern. It has 12 plain 12" blocks, 14 - 13" printed triangles, 18 - 5" 3 block pieced squares, 4 - 8x12" rectangles, 4 - 5x40" borders with the 2" printed material on edge, 2 - 5x40 border with the 2" print in the middle, and 3 - 9 - 1/2" printed triangles. Does anyone have any idea what quilt this would be or how it would go together?
